Run 4 Their Lives is a Freedom 4/24 event that raises awareness and funds to bring sexually exploited women and children into freedom.
Run 4 Their Lives is Freedom 4/24’s race series which is held in cities across the United States to bring communities together for a family friendly, hopeful event to increase awareness of human trafficking, share stories of girls who are now rescued and free, and to encourage continued advocacy. Often participants increase their advocacy efforts by becoming fundraisers and using the race as a platform to share about the issue of human trafficking and the work of Freedom 4/24. Funds raised through each Run 4 Their Lives race is used to support the continued work in the fight for freedom in partnership with Redeeming Love, Two Wings, and Treasures.
Redeeming Love/ Rebirth Homes: Redeeming Love has recently announced their partnership and merger with Rebirth Homes. Throughout the past year, Freedom 4/24 has journeyed alongside the Redeeming Love board as they have sought to discern their next step as an organization. We are encouraged to learn of their direction moving forward. Proceeds from the Run 4 Their Lives Virtual race will now be funneled to Rebirth Homes (along with the other organizations originally intended - Two Wings and Treasures). The press release for Redeeming Love and Rebirth merger can be found here.
Treasures : Treasures is a faith based organization in Los Angeles California with a mission to reach, restore, and equip women in the sex industry and victims of sex trafficking to live healthy, flourishing lives, and train others to do the same across the globe. Treasures was founded in 2003 and is survivor-led, volunteer-driven, and the first and only organization of its kind in LA. They are located in the heart of the Adult Industry Capital of the World where 90% of all legal porn worldwide is filmed, distributed, or manufactured. Through Treasures' Global Training Program, they have equipped leaders to reach and provide care to women in the sex industry in over 230 cities across nine countries, on six continents!
Two Wings: Two Wings exists to empower survivor of sex trafficking to identify and pursue their dream vocation through mentoring programs, life skills classes and career training workshops, creating the path for a life of financial independence. Through youth mentoring, education, and career mentoring they provide the hope, tools, guidance, and directions to allow survivors to THRIVE in their live beyond sex trafficking. Their youth mentoring is a year-long program where a one on one mentor walks through life with their 15-19 year old clients, guiding them towards a future filled with possibilities. Two Wings' training academy, Qualified, uses a holistic approach to education, aiming to give their clients the knowledge they need to excel in today's global economy. Their career mentoring matches their survivors with professional women working in the careers they hope to pursue. Role models help their clients experience the job in the real world while train for it in school or workshops.
